In the thick of it….

Hey Gang!!!

Well, as you can tell from the title I’m officially in the thick of it with moving. I’ll explain that in a few.

But first, if you’re new here,

Okay, so for those of you that don’t know, I’m moving again. This isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve lived in three different states in the last seven years.

Yeah it’s been a lot. But, I’ve enjoyed learning new places and meeting new people.

Anyway, like I was saying I’m at the point in the next move where I want to pull my hair out.

So, we’re preparing our old home for showing. The painters have been here EVERYDAY. I mean Every. Single. Day. The landscapers have started to show up to add some curb appeal to the house. I’ve decluttered ( per my realtors request). Basically, i just put away all the extra stuff. Including thinning my bookshelf down to half the books. Apparently an overflowing bookshelf doesn’t show well on pictures.

I’m hoping all this makes for a speedy sale.

Now, that isn’t to say that if we do sale we even have a place to go. Nope, I still haven’t decided on a house yet.

Yes, I know, I need to hurry up. But you guys read my last blog. And if you haven’t you should. It’s hard out here in these Zillow streets.

Last week I found the perfect home. I mean it was gorgeous. I’d had my eye on it for awhile. Finally sat down with the hubby to talk about it and he even agreed.( that has been an issue as well. ) I send the home to our realtor and that very night, another offer was placed on the house.

I legit wanted to cry. Back to the drawing board, I went. All the other homes I liked are in the worse and I mean WORSE school zones. And with three kids I can’t send my babies to just any school.

I’ve since picked four homes. None of them are my top picks. We will be doing a virtual tour this Friday. Wish me luck.

Aside from the house hunting and house selling, I’ve also been busy working. If any of you haven’t read our Perceptive Illusions Magazine, you’re really missing out.
